Bambang Pamungkas’ Profile began from his birth. He was born in 10th June 1980. He is a professional football player in Indonesia. He plays in the Indonesia Super League for Persija Jakarta and also previously is one of the members of Indonesia national football team. His natural position is a striker. Bambang reached his name in a high position of South East Asian football when he played and scored a goal for Indonesia in the semifinal against Malaysia at 2002 Tiger Cup. Moreover, he was a top scorer in tournament with scoring eight goals. He joined the Dutch Third Division in EHC Norad in 2000. However, it was only in 4 months he joined there and then returned to Persija Jakarta where he was there before. In 2001, Bambang helped the club to win the Liga Indonesia. He was got the award of a best football player in that season. In 2004, Persija Jakarta missed out narrowly by one point on winning the championship. In the 2005, the following season, Persija Jakarta reached the final, but it lost 2-3 to Persipura, Jayapura.
